DESCRIPTION OF THE PERFORMANCE
From a caravan to the depths of the ocean - a journey through the eyes of migrants. An immersive performance - a 15 minutes long apnea to understand how deep the sea is. All of us - from Ulysses and Noah to the young Syrian refugee Alan Kurdi - have gone through water in search of life.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The Samovar Company - was founded in 2011 by brothers Luca and Davide Salata, giving birth to their first production straddling Italy and Romania - “Mic Circ Fraţilor” (“Little Circus Brothers”), a street theatre show in which clowning, music and acrobatics combine to the rhythm of Balkan music and flavours of the East. The brothers, as creative artists, have also been the organisers and artistic directors of the CircuSpring Festival, an alternative theatre festival in Trento, since 2015. The Samovar Company draws on classical clowning to implement profound research on man as a singular being, through experimentation in this ancient and always contemporary art. In the company's creations, live music, scenic constructions and mime/body expression are central, giving value to these languages as primary elements of communication.
