DESCRIPTION OF THE CONCERT

“Hoson Zes / Lśnji” is a concert of the Communal Choir - the result of over a year of musical work by the group, which was born from a passion for singing together. Initially a loose and open group of enthusiasts, over time transformed into a 30-person choir, ready to face extremely demanding and rarely performed musical material.

The repertoire is based on contemporary arrangements of ancient Greek music - pieces originating from the beginnings of CHOREA Theatre. These compositions are raw, primary, and at the same time extremely alive. Their rhythmic intensity and vocal expression evoke echoes of the beginnings of European culture - echoes of sounds from centuries ago that still resonate in today's listeners.

The concert by the Communal Choir is not only a presentation of the works' effects, but also a manifestation of community, openness and the strength that comes from being together in music.
